80’s Metal Tribute Band

Why oh why do all these cover bands play crusty old 60’s and 70’s classic rock shite?? Have we not just passed a milllenium!.I grew up playing guitar and being in bands in the good ol’ 1980’s when men were men that played on 10!.
So why are there no bands playing 80’s metal stuff from Dokken,Ozzy Osbourne,Ratt,old Metallica,Faith no more,Queensryche,Fifth Angel,Exodus(great band)…..come on the list is endless so is the material.
My mission is this year is to get an 80’s Metal tribute band going if nothing else.
