This was before the civil wars of the last few decades. It was a great place to grow up,the first year was spent on a rubber plantation in Bassa County. We were literally living in the bush,no TV or radio. We made our own entertainment.

 The next 5 years we moved to a major iron ore mine in Bong County. Bong Town was more of a small mixed European/African community with all the “mod cons” of a small town. I have very fond memories of Bong Town as a teenager. Check out this  site. You might even see me on there somewhere!.

cd-10-33.jpgLiberia was truly a great place to grow up and the Liberian people in general were always so welcoming and with a great sense of fun. Our family left just before the first uprising, so we never saw anything of the atrocities that went on afterwards. I really do hope Liberia has a peaceful future.

Bloody thing just appeared from nowhere scaring the shit out of me!. My van is a complete mess…..so is the deer!.

Upgraded to Wordpress 2.3, that was fun as half my plugins did not work and I lost some of my pics in the backup.More joy. NOT!.

Anyway had time to sort out allthe bugs and stuff in the site generally. So that should be it for awhile………hopefully.

On another note Jo’s mum is not to well, just came out of hospital after they found a lump……lets hope for the best.

Back next week to start recording my way overdue album……I will finish it :-D

Take heed you only have one pair of lugholes so protct them with decent plugs.My faves are the ER20 hifi plugs.
